FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Crazy horse cowhide leather is a leather treated with natural oils and waxes that create a distinctive mottled appearance. Our 1.3–1.6 mm crazy horse leather is sourced for durability and develops a rich patina as it ages—the leather darkens and gains character with exposure to light and use. This natural aging process is a hallmark of quality leather goods; your paddle cover will look more refined and personal after months of use. Unlike synthetic materials, crazy horse leather becomes more beautiful with time, making it ideal for a paddle cover you'll carry for years. This answer applies to the leather pickleball paddle cover on this page.
Cleaning is simple: wipe the exterior with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust and debris. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and allow the leather to air-dry naturally. To maintain the leather's suppleness and protect it from moisture, condition it every 6–12 months with a quality leather conditioner designed for aniline or natural-oil leather. Avoid harsh cleaners, alcohol-based products, and excessive water. The hand-stitched seams are durable and will not be compromised by normal care. Over time, conditioning will deepen the patina and keep the leather soft and resilient. For detailed care guidance, visit our help resources.
Yes, this paddle cover is designed to fit standard pickleball paddles. The interior dimensions are 25 × 31 cm (9.84 × 12.2 inches), which accommodates most regulation-sized paddles comfortably with a snug fit that prevents the paddle from shifting during transport. The soft interior lining protects the paddle face and edges without adding bulk. If you have an oversized or custom paddle, we recommend measuring your paddle before ordering. Paddles that exceed 25 cm in width or 31 cm in height may not fit securely. For questions about fit, contact our team via the Help Center. Absolutely. Initials and name engraving are available as a customization option at checkout. Select the "Initials" option from the product options and specify your desired text during the order process. Engraving is applied to the exterior of the cover, typically on the front flap or body, depending on the design. Custom engraving is ideal for personalizing gifts, marking club or tournament gear, or adding a professional touch to your paddle cover. Engraved covers make excellent gifts for pickleball enthusiasts and are popular with clubs and teams. Lead time for engraved orders is the same as standard orders: 10–15 working days from order confirmation.
All paddle covers are made to order. Standard orders (without custom engraving or special requests) ship in 10–15 working days from order confirmation. This lead time reflects our hand-stitched, made-to-order production process, which ensures each cover meets our quality standards before it ships. If you select initials engraving or include special order instructions, the timeline remains 10–15 working days. We ship to 50+ countries and provide tracking information once your order ships. Leather Collection has been hand-stitching leather goods since 2009, and every paddle cover is made with the same attention to detail.
