Alex Rins: Our Fans, Our Sponsors

Alex Rins Navarro (born 8 December 1995) is a Spanish professional motorcycle racer who competes in the MotoGP™ World Championship riding for the LCR Honda Castrol team. In 2011, he won the CEV Buckler 125 Junior GP Championship and made his Grand Prix debut at the 2012 Spanish Grand Prix.

Rins began his career in Moto3 with the Estrella Galicia team. In his second season, he took pole position for the Spanish Grand Prix. He took his first podium in France, with third place. He scored no further podiums but was very consistent throughout the remainder of the season, regularly finishing in the top ten. He finished fifth in the final standings and became Rookie of the Year. He continued racing for Estrella Galicia alongside Álex Márquez in 2013, which would prove to be a breakthrough year for both riders—Maverick Viñales, Luis Salom and Rins dominated the season (with Viñales scoring 6 wins, 14 podiums and 8 poles) and were in contention for the title throughout most races—but Rins finished second by 12 points to Viñales after scoring 2 wins, 8 podiums and 4 poles less than Viñales.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Which fashion leather jacket style is best for daily wear if I want full-grain, hand-stitched construction and a great fit?
For daily wear with premium build, choose a full-grain leather race replica jacket with hand-stitched seams and a tailored, comfortable fit. This matters because the material resists wear while the stitching keeps panels secure, giving a look and feel closer to originals without sacrificing durability. In practice for MotoGP track days or street use, our race replica jackets offer measured precision and a refined silhouette. Made-to-measure options and size guidance ensure you get true full-grain, hand-stitched construction. We ship to 50+ countries with 24hr support; explore leathercollection.com/made-to-measure and leathercollection.com/size-chart for perfect fit. As you style it, the look lines up with racer-inspired authenticity while offering everyday comfort.
What is the difference between full-grain and top-grain leather, and between hand-stitched and machine stitching in motorcycle jackets, and does it affect replica accuracy?
Full-grain leather is the strongest, most natural surface, while top-grain is sanded for uniformity but softer. Hand-stitched construction uses individual stitches by craftsmen, boosting durability and aging gracefully; machine stitching is faster but can be less durable. In replica accuracy, full-grain leather and hand-stitching help match authentic texture and creasing patterns better than mass-produced jackets. For MotoGP race replicas, leather made from genuine full-grain material with hand-stitched seams delivers the most authentic feel, burnish, and longevity. For track days, how do MotoGP race replica jackets compare to rider replica jackets in terms of fit, protection, and how closely the look matches the original?
MotoGP race replica jackets typically match the original race gear more closely, with a tailored fit, premium leather, and closer color and panel accuracy than rider replicas. For track days, protection varies, but many race replicas include precision cut, abrasion-resistant panels, and armor integration designed to perform similarly to the bikes. Fit tends to be more race-oriented—snug through the torso and shoulders—while rider replicas may offer a looser, street-ready cut. Authenticity matters: MotoGP race replicas aim for official colorways, logos, and panel alignment to mirror the original aesthetics. Brand specifics: made-to-measure sizing at leathercollection.com/made-to-measure plus size-chart at leathercollection.com/size-chart helps achieve precise fit.
Which film-inspired leather jacket most closely matches the original screen look, and how should I style it for events or cosplay?
The closest match is a genuine leather jacket built to mirror the film look, featuring authentic paneling, realistic patina, and precise color. For events or cosplay, you want a clean silhouette with subtle distressing and accurate hardware that reads as screen-accurate from a distance. We offer made-to-measure options and color customization so you can align the jacket with a specific character’s look. Size chart and measurements help ensure the fit translates on stage or at events, while our 50+ country shipping keeps it accessible. Brand specifics: genuine full-grain leather and hand-stitched construction; leathercollection.com/made-to-measure; leathercollection.com/size-chart.
How do you take measurements for a made-to-measure leather jacket versus standard sizing, and what should you expect for fit?
Made-to-measure starts with precise body measurements for a personalized fit; standard sizing uses predefined sizes with recommended tweaks. With our made-to-measure service, expect a tailored chest, waist, sleeve length, shoulder width, and overall balance tailored to you. For standard sizes, you’ll consult our size chart to choose the best match, then consider minor alterations after purchase. Brand specifics: Made-to-measure at leathercollection.com/made-to-measure, size chart at leathercollection.com/size-chart, ships to 50+ countries, with 24hr support. This approach helps you achieve the right balance of comfort, protection, and personal style, ensuring you love the jacket for years.
