Accelerate to Excellence with Francesco Bagnaia
Born on January 14, 1997, Francesco Bagnaia is an Italian motorcycle racer who competes in MotoGP as a member of the Ducati Lenovo Team. He won the MotoGP World Riders' Championship in 2022 and 2023.
In 2018, Bagnaia won the Moto2 World Championship. He is the only rider to have won a world championship in the premier class out of all of Valentino Rossi's VR46 Riders Academy graduates. It was also the first for an Italian rider since Rossi himself in 2009 and the first for a Ducati rider in fifteen years.
Italy's Francesco Bagnaia was born in Turin and began riding Minimoto bikes at an early age. In 2009, he won the European MiniGP championship. With the Monlau Competición squad, he made his debut in the pre-GP 125 Mediterranean championship in 2010 and ended the campaign in second place. He competed in the 125cc class at the 2011 Spanish Championships, winning a race and placing third overall.
